Scent of the Outback: The Air Aroma x R.M. Williams Collaboration at Bohemia Bay Studio

Bohemia Bay Studio got to work with two awesome Aussie brands Air Aroma and R.M. Williams. They teamed up to make a cool gift set with a candle and a scent bottle that smells like the Australian bushland, with hints of sage, lemon, and wood.

Understanding the Vision:

R.M. Williams didn't just want another product; they were creating an experience. R.M. Williams is all about that classic Aussie feel - think leather boots and the rugged beauty of the outback. Air Aroma, on the other hand, knows how to make places smell amazing, turning simple spaces into luxurious havens with their scents.

The vision was to combine these two worlds. We wanted to capture the essence of Australia's wide-open spaces in a way that felt upscale and exclusive. The scent gift set was designed to not only smell good but to also remind people of the Australian landscape - with smells like sage, lemon leaves, and aged wood, it's like carrying a piece of the outback into your home.

Crafting the Visual Story:

For this project, we had to tell a story through our photos that would suit the vibe of R.M. Williams. Here's how we did it:

  • Product Photography: All the pictures were taken in our studio, where we could control everything from the lighting to the background. We focused on three items: the candle, the fragrance bottle, and their special gift box. We wanted to show off how beautiful and unique these products are, just like how each brand stands out on its own.

  • Setting the Scene: Instead of going all fancy and complicated, we chose a simple setup. We used earthy colors and natural elements like wood, wheat, and sand as backdrops. This wasn't just for looks; it was to reflect the scent's inspiration - the Australian outback. We aimed for a 'less is more' approach, where the simplicity of the scene let the products shine, making them look both luxurious and natural.

  • Colours and Textures: The colors we picked were all about nature - browns, greens, and beiges - to match the scents and the rugged elegance of R.M. Williams. We played with textures too, like the rough feel of wood against the smooth glass of the scent bottle, to tell a story of luxury that's also down-to-earth.

By keeping things simple, every detail in our photos was there for a reason. We wanted to make sure that when you looked at these images, you felt like you were getting a whiff of Australia, wrapped in a package of luxury. It was all about capturing that special moment where the land meets luxury, right in your living room.

Impact of the Photography:

The photos we took for this project were all about making R.M. Williams scent gift set stand out on their online shop. Here's what we achieved:

  • Visual Storytelling: Our images weren't just pictures; they told a story of luxury that feels like home, of Australia's wide landscapes in a bottle. We aimed to make people feel like they could almost smell the outback through their screens, turning a simple purchase into a sensory journey.

  • E-commerce Appeal: These photos were designed for R.M. Williams' website, where every click counts. By using simple, elegant backdrops and focusing on the products, we made them look irresistible - the kind of thing you'd want to buy not just for the smell, but for the experience it represents.

  • Engagement: We hoped these images would catch the eye, making customers stop scrolling, click through to learn more, and ultimately, feel they must own a piece of this luxurious, earthy collaboration.

By focusing on simplicity and detail, we created images that not only displayed the products but also embodied the essence of the partnership, encouraging people to bring a bit of the Australian outback into their daily lives in the most luxurious way possible.
